Spoilt For Choice!

It's been a while since I made time for this humble blog of mine. And I thought I'd spend some time to write something today.

I've been busy surveying, getting quotations, meeting up with people and scouting for items for a small ceremony that will be held at my little shack in PJ. I'm getting engaged! The date has been set, and it's gonna be in the month of Syawal.

And of of the things that I have been doing homework on, is on my engagement ring. Girls and sparkles, what can I say? ;)

I'm planning to get my ring from the US. I've checked a few big diamond retailers online like Zales, Kay Jewelers & Heizberg, and I'm blinded! I'm looking for certified ones, IMHO even though you have to pay a little extra but at least, you get to know what exactly you are paying for.

I went to Tiffany in KLCC last weekend to double check my ring size. Yup, it's 4.5. And since I was already there, I decided to take a look at what they've got to offer and the sales consultant help me out a bit based on my preferences, and she is amazing. Her name is Anna and she will pick out the ring that suits you best. And so much so, I must agree :)

And now I have something on my wishlist... I have a rough idea of what I want, and Anna got me stuck on this particular one. hehe

I have some time to decide on which one to choose, but this particular one at Tiffany is definitely one of my options :)

if money is not an issue, tiffany as you know has great choices. but if you don't want to spen obscene amount of money on diamond ring, i will suggest picking a design from tiffany and order a custom-made ring from your local jeweller. i personally know a fab and honest Malay jeweller tapi she is in Terengganu lah. i have bought a few things from her - she is actually my friend's mother - and i have to say that i am very happy with the cut, clarity and brilliance of the diamonds. and although the price is not cheap, i did get a good price :)
lemme know if you're interested to get her contact number okay. btw, i nka suggest this tiffany ring : round brilliant ribbon ring (http://www.tiffany.com/Engagement/Item.aspx?GroupSKU=GRP10021#f+5/0/0/0/0/0) have a look. maybe not your cup of tea but i think its so cute and delicate :)

Nurhayati: I haven't decided yet..hehe *fickle*
L.O.Leisure: Wowww.. the round brilliant ribbon ring is beautiful, but I think it'd look a bit too big on my very thin finger :)
Thanks for the suggestion abt customizing my own ring, sounds like a great idea to avoid spending a bomb. I have yet to decide :)
