I'm leaving tomorrow for two weeks.
I'm almost done with my income taxes, I've handed over my work, and as always - I haven't started packing yet! I will do so, after I finish typing this post :p

Anyway, I will be bringing back home some shot glasses and fridge magnets from Melbourne & Cairns since I know some of you are addicted to fridge magnets!! I will be putting them up in my sales blog for those interested.

I will catch up on your posts when I come home, and if time permits, from time to time when I'm there.

Take care peeps!!

11 April 2009

Last night's ceremony was to celebrate the love of 2 great friends. The reception went well. As always, weddings have always been an event to catch up with old friends and meeting new ones too. And not to forget the endless photo sessions.
Girls and camera, can't live without it!

I wore my false eyelashes for the first time, the slant black. It felt uncomfortable at first, but I kinda got used to it after a while, and the new look, I likee :) A friend of mine taught I had extensions done, and I whispered to her no, I got this thanks to Shu Uemura falsies. I got the help from Shu Uemura this time round, so the next time, I wanna do it on my own and hopefully I can! I had some trouble taking it off at first, because I was trying my best not to pull it from the tip but the base instead, and I felt as though I was pulling my real eyelashes too! But I got the hang of it and stored it just as it was when I bought it, thanks to Verde's advice :) TQ!

Scents

I thought of listing down some of my favorite scents that I've been using for the last few years; some of them were gifts and some I bought myself.
I don't have many favorites as I find it hard to find the right scent for me. And once I do, I always stick to it!
I've had an awful experience with the wrong scent and the one time I remember most was way back during school days, I wore the Body Shop Vanilla (it was the 'in' perfume in Form 1, so I bought a bottle too :p). I couldn't stand the vanilla smell and the smell bothered me through out the rest of the day. I chucked the perfume right away after school, and stayed clear of anything with strong vanilla notes.

Here are my favorites!

1. DKNY Be Delicious
2. Lancome Oui
3. Calvin Klein Escape
4. Calvin Klein Euphoria
5. Escada (can't remember the name, but it's the sweet smelling one in a red bottle) :p
6. Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey
7. Paris Hilton For Women

And the last perfume I got was for a pressie early this year -Dolce & Gabbana The One. Mr. H got me this at Heathrow after trying about 10 perfumes he said.. and I liked it! I'm quite a fussy pot, ya know :p

It's now my current favorite!

Dolce and Gabbana Eau de Parfum Spray is a subtle blend of fruits, woods and dry floral notes. Dolce & Gabbana The One perfume begins with a fresh, fruity and sparkling burst of mandarin and peach that leads into a heart of jasmine and ends with a base of vanilla, amber and musk.Fragrance Notes : Mandarin, Bergamot, Litchi, Peach, Jasmine, Plum, Vetiver, Amber, Musk.

What are your favorites?

Another Vacay Maybe

Mr. H asked me yesterday whether I'd like to make another trip to the States...

Tempting! But I'll be taking 2 weeks off soon and I'm gonna be pretty tied-up mid of the year. I doubt my boss will let me go for another long leave.....

But...

I shall think about it and see if I can work it out some how..

Offer still stands right? ;)

Chick Lit

I finally managed to watch 'Confessions Of A Shopaholic'!
Great chick lit movie after a stressful week from work. I'd rate this movie 6 out of 10.
Not something you'd watch twice, but with a group of girlfriends, I wouldn't mind a second time, and Luke is not bad himself.. he's quite a charming bloke!

And the next chick flick in plan is 'He's Just not That Into You'. I have the book, and I've read it cover to cover (you know about me & books) and it's one of my favorites. Good book to read - you can get real answers to common questions on relationships and MEN. I'd recommend this for every lady to read :)

The movie will start showing in our cinemas in a few days time, so if time permits, I'm planning to watch this next weekend. Plus, Jen's gonna be in it, the more reason I wanna go. Can't wait to catch this!

4th Month of 2009

Cairns, Australia

April's here!

Anyway, to start this new month, I shall try and work out my to-do list. I've never really plan my days very well, most of the things I do are impromptu, except for the really importants ones - which I store in my phone, just in case I forget!

1. Buy Bobbi Brown Oil-free Compact Foundation (a )
2. Change appointment with Benefit
3. Make appointment with Shu Uemura for free makeover (a )
I've scheduled it to be a few hours before my friend's wedding reception, hopefully the makeup can last!
4. Pay credit card bills
5. Claim Body Shop voucher
6. Get in touch with little sis on change of flight schedule to Cairns
7. Get as much work done at the office these coming two weeks
urghh..
8. I'm still contemplating whether I should do my hair before I go on my vacay.. or after...
but I'm thinking probably after, since I might be doing some outdoor activities in Cairns..
yeay! But I just checked my calendar, and I'm expecting my period on the 25th, which is the day I'm flying out to Cairns from Melbourne... hope the cramps won't come, and about the beach & outdoor activities... alaaa.. how lah? :(
9.
10.
11.
12.

Will work on this list from now and then...
