2 Reasons

I've got a few stuff to blog about but currently I can't do so because:

1. I wanna put pictures with my posts but somehow when I log in into Blogger from my office, the layout is different; and the menus -'add picture', 'add hyperlink', fonts, etc. are not even visible. I don't think it's my browser as it was perfectly fine until my company blocked sites that has certain keywords. e.g. online networking -there goes Facebook-ing at the office & provocative clothing - this was when I tried to go into La Senza's website :p

2. Something's wrong with my internet connection at home, and until I get that fixed, I'm off the net at mi casa.

Under the Weather

I feel sick.

I came back from work yesterday, not feeling so good.
To add on that, I slept rather late last nite to sent my sister off to the airport and was only in bed at 2 a.m.

Woke up this morning groggy and I felt cold right down to the bones. Horrible feeling.
I was tempted to take a medical leave, but I have deadlines to meet - and they're all on Friday.

So here I am at work, struggling the best I can to prepare for tomorrow's discussions and the deadlines.

I have a splitting headache, I'm starting to have a runny nose and my throat's all sore.

Why is it so cold in this office?

I wanna go back home. Clock - please speed up. Can't wait for you to show 1715.

Matify is the Key Word

I'm looking for a pot of loose powder and also a compact foundation to bring around. The brand that I've been sorta eyeing is T.LeClerc. I am currently using M.A.C Select SPF 15 liquid foundation and M.A.C Studio Fix. I really have no major complaints... except, I have really oily skin, and I mean literally, and the Studio Fix doesn't really help much to matify my face. I always have to bring my blotters with me when I go out, or I'll end up with a really oily face throughout the day :p

I've read a few reviews earlier on that said that T.LeClerc is really good at matifying, as it has rice extract or something like that - I don't quite remember.

I'm still asking around for a tip of two. But I'm 75% convinced that I'll be giving this brand a try.

Hopefully T.LeClerc won't let me down!

Sweet Tooth

I am glad that it's already a Thursday and the weekend is just around the corner.

My sis is leaving for Melbourne next week, so this Sunday my sis has decided to cook something and invite my aunt over. We were discussing the menu at my cousin's kenduri last weekend, who just returned from Aberdeen. It has been decided that we are gonna have Italian, and boy, I didn't know she could cook! I thought it was just 'gulai kuning masak lemak' and the other simple 'goreng-goreng' stuff. But Italian? So we shall 'test' my sister's cooking this Sunday :)The menu's gonna be lasagna and salad on the side, which I volunteered to do.

My aunt will be bringing dessert. We told her we want it to be a surprise, but I'm pretty sure she's gonna get a cake from Secret Recipe since she did mention the other day. But now that I'm thinking about it, I want macaroons. Macaroons from Bakerzin, to be exact.

Les Etats Unis

I think I took over 500 shots during my trip to the States. This time I got myself a 2GB memory card, that explains the larget amount of photographs. :P

This time round I went to Philly, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, and Orlando and DC, of course.
The initial plan was to cover Orlando and Miami during our trip down south and then take a cruise to the Bahamas, but we had to shorten the trip due to his work.
We took a return flight to Orlando from DC. Our 4 day trip to Orlando was great fun and we managed to cover quite alot of Disney - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom & the water park, Typhoon Lagoon. Later at night we drove down to Downtown Disney and went clubbing at Pleasure Island.

This was my 2nd trip to DisneyWorld (the first was when I was just 10) and I still, and I'm sure will always have the kid in me to enjoy the fantastic parks here! I love Disney World!

Parades at Animal Kingdom & Magic Kingdom

The fireworks in Magic Kingdom went on for about 20 minutes or probably more. It was simply magical. No fireworks can be better that this. Check out the video! Mind you that the video's a lil long, just watch the last 40 secs if you're rushing for time :)

Pics in Epcot, Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios

Philly, PA - The weather here was pretty chilly when I was there, but just about perfect for strolling in the park and watching passerbys while snacking on chips. Walked on the 'Rocky Steps' which got its name as 'Rocky' was filmed in Philly.

Williamsburg, VA - Besides going around the historical city, we also dropped by at Busch Garden. This park has been voted as one of the most beautiful theme parks in the world.

VA Beach - Beautiful beach, but the water was really cold! I'm sure it would've been perfect in summer. It's famous for its salt water taffy which is similar to the toffee we can get here. It comes in numerous flavors - yumm!

We spent a day in NJ before heading to EWR. And I got to see my old house! A Camry was parked upfront, hence there were people inside, but good thing no one noticed that I was snapping photos.
I stayed in this house for 2 years in 89-90. Sure brings alot of good memories. How I miss my childhood years...

I had a fabulous trip to the States! Managed to meet up with my friends and made a couple of new friends too. My best friend who is in the States asked me to make another trip there again - to Vegas. Sounds good. I will definitely consider it babe :)

Two Double O Seven

I just got back from Cherating a few hours ago. Went east for a short trip to visit a few relatives in Kuantan. Glad the roads were clear on our way back to KL, except there were a few stretches where the water was a little high, and we had to slow down. It has been raining non-stop in Kuantan/Cherating since we got there on Friday.

Continuing from where I left off from the last post, here are some of the pics from my travels...

Kuching city /// Damai Resort, Santubong

Rainforest World Music Festival 2007

Malacca

I was suppose to make a trip to Jakarta with my mom that year. Our air tickets were already confirmed but due to some changes in our plan, we didn't go.
And the other trip I went to was to Damai Laut, but I can't seem to find the pics, so I guess this is all I have to share.

Will continue with 2008 in my next post...
